2012 Jaguar XF facelift officially revealed!

With the new Audi A6, BMW 5 Series, and the Mercedes E-Class in this competitive market. Jaguar have to do something to put their aging XF back into our radar. Jaguar therefore had recently unveiled the new 2012 facelift Jaguar XF at the New York Auto Show!


The facelifted XF features headlights from it’s brother, the XJ which makes it look more aggressive and eye catching. New hood, front and rear bumpers, and tons of LEDs for both front and rear lights completes the facelift. The already awesome interior also get some improvements as well. Featuring better seats, improved infotainment system, as well as new Bowers & Wilkins Dolby surround system for top end models.


Joining the XF facelift range would be the ultra fuel efficient new 2.2-litre AJ-i4D four-cylinder diesel engine with 187 hp which could achieve 52.3mpg. The new facelift will also apply to the range topping XFR performance saloon. To stand out from the other XF models, the XFR will have redesigned huge front air intakes with chrome surrounds, rear boot lid spoiler, quad exhaust, as well as bigger rims and brakes.


The facelifted XF will start production in July but no pricing have been announced yet. Expect a small hike in price or better still, remains the same. With so much improvements apply to a facelift, the new XF looks fresh once again and is definitely up to the tough challenge against it’s competitive German rivals!
