One-off Ferrari Superamerica 45 revealed!
Remember the Ferrari Superamerica? The iconic Ferrari that features a convertible roof which just flips over instead of using complex machinery like most convertibles today. Ferrari had just revealed a one-off project of the Ferrari Superamerica 45 at the Concorso d’Eleganza Villa d’Este.
Based on the limited Ferrari SA Aperta, the Ferrari Superamerica 45 was a special request by New York real estate mogul Peter Kalikow. His request was to celebrate his 45th year as a Ferrari owner who has also owned a 1961 Ferrari 400 Superamerica convertible.
The Ferrari Superamerica 45 will have exclusive Blu Antille paint, two-toned rims, chrome front grille, integrated rear boot spoiler, and Ferrari 599 GTO inspired rear bumper with extra air intakes and side vents. Not to mention the carbon fibre flip-over roof. No technical details yet nor the price, but we obviously know it is going to cost a fortune!
