2011 Chevrolet Cruze BTCC Racer revealed!
We are still in the fresh year of 2011 and many new rules have been added or changed for most racing groups like F1, and this, the British Touring Car Championship (BTCC). Among the teams are 2 Chevrolet Cruze driven by driver’s champion as well as Fith Gear host, Jason Plato and Alex MacDowall.
The new technical rules means that changes have to be made for the cars which includes a downsized engine and is now a turbocharged 1.6 liter. Despite the smaller engine, the turbocharged engine is more powerful with more torque as well.
Other changes includes tweaks to the car’s cooling system, front suspension, aerodynamics, and overall weight distribution. New sponsors like Silverline, Dunlop, Auto Express, and EVO with new liveries completes the whole package. We will be able to see the updated Cruze racer in action at it’s first race of the season on Sunday April 3 at Brands Hatch, Kent!
