Porsche Boxster S Black Edition revealed!

Porsche had recently unveiled their limited edition Boxster S model, the Black Edition. Limited to only 987 units, the Black Edition will have a 10bhp increased compared to the standard Boxster S with a total of 316bhp. It may only be a mere 10bhp increase, but that makes the Black Edition go from 0-60mph in just 5.2 seconds, a tenth of a second faster than the standard Boxster S. Now thats something! Not really, but at least you get to boast about it to standard Boxster S owners.

Like the name suggest, the car will come with many “Black” extras. Beside the black paint, the Black Edition will have black-rimmed steering wheel, black dashboard, instrument clusters, black roll-over bars, black side air-intakes, and black twin-exhaust pipes. As you can see, the Porsche Boxster S Black Edition stayed true to it’s name indeed.

Besides those black extras, the Black Edition will also get lightweight ten-spoke alloy wheels…..in black of course and ‘Black Edition’ badging everywhere. This limited special edition Boxster will go on sale in March and will be priced from £47,426. The price will also buy you an invitation to the Driving Experience Programme at the Porsche Experience Centre at Silverstone.
