Porsche 911 GT3 RSR race car gets an update!
Porsche has recently updated their 911 GT3 RSR race car which will compete in next year’s GT Championship. Little but significant changes have been made to the car, an extra 5hp gained from its 4.0-liter boxer engine which brings it to a total of 455hp, new front lip spoiler for increased downforce, and a different position for its large rear wing. The car also weights in at 1220kg.
The car will also have a larger front wheel and LED rear lights from all latest 911 models. As I told you, no big changes have been made but I believe these small changes do make a difference on the the race track where science are everything. The price of the car is €410,000 (US $542,430) including value added tax (VAT).
To the people who already owns the current 911 GT3 RSR however, do not fret as these modification on the new car are available as an add-on kit for current cars.
