Pagani Zonda replacement will be called the Huayra!

Finally the wait is over! This is the all-new Pagani Huayra which is going to replace the still awesome Zonda. The Huayra may sound more like a chinese car but the name was actually taken from the Andean god of wind, Aymara Huayra Tata. It can also be called as the Pagani Deus Venti.

Everyone must be expecting a totally different looking car but dissapointingly, it still looks similar despite being totally redesigned. Don’t get too sad though, as looking similar to the bold-looking Zonda is not necessarily a bad thing. The Huayra do look a bit toned down from the Zonda, but still extreme-looking nevertheless. Both headlights and tail lamps are still similar to the Zonda but with added extra bulbs. The signature quad tailpipes from the Zonda remains.

Another thing worth noting are the gull-wing doors which looks great and allows easier access into the car. The Huayra will also feature odd-looking wing mirrors which looked more like an insect’s antennae. Bold design indeed.

Powering this god of wind is a brand new 6.0-liter twin-turbocharged V12 engine supplied by the AMG performance division of Mercedes. With more than 700 bhp, the power will be sent to the rear wheels by a seven-speed sequential gearbox. 0-60mph time, top speed, and other technical info will be announced later. Prices was not released as well but the price was expected to reach €1,000,000.
