All new Kia Picanto revealed!

This is the brand new, totally redesigned, fully changed, completely reworked, next generation 2012 Kia Picanto! Yup, since it was launched during 2004, the Picanto only had a minor facelift on 2007 and never change anything ever since then. People also stop noticing it ever since. The Picanto will feature bold design with headlights looking similar to those from its brother, the Kia Venga while the rear looks a bit like the new Nissan Micra. The only thing that I dislike about the car’s design is that new front bumper, which looks a bit after-market. Well is a bold design after all.

Kia also explained that the new Picanto looks “bolder, more mature and more self confident.” We can agree with that because Kia chose not to make its cheapest car to look ‘cute’ and instead a meaner looking one. The new Picanto will have four new engines to choose from which ranges between 1.0 to 1.2 liters. No pricing have been announced yet, but expect this car to be well-equipped. And based on these official photos, the Picanto will have a single sunroof as an option which is uncommon in these car segments. We will be able to see the 2012 Kia Picanto at the Geneva Motor Show in March. What do you think, will this be a car worth waiting?

UPDATE!: Two more new photos of the Kia Picanto was released, one exterior (in blue) and an interior shot. View it in the gallery below!
