2012 Audi A6 Sedan Officially Revealed!

After leaked photos of the 2012 A6 sedan surfaced earlier today on the internet, Audi have finally revealed the car just hours after those internet leaked photos. Despite being called a 2012 model, the new A6 sedan will be on sale early next year. Rivaling the latest models of BMW’s 5-Series and Mercedes-Benz’s E-Class, the 2012 A6 will have a choice of five engines from a 2.8 V6 to a supercharged 3.0 V6 for the petrol versions and a 2.0 TDI and two different 3.0 TDI for the diesel version. A hybrid version will also follow the lineup very soon.

Audi also claims that more than 20% of the A6 sedan’s bodyparts is made of lightweight aluminium, including aluminium suspension. Dynamic steering wheel and adaptive air suspension will be available as an option as well. Design wise, Audi plans to make all of their model to look as identical as possible which is disappointing.
